Ms. Frogner-Olsen works primarily with women in recovery and identifies specific issues women often face which may enhance a gambling problem. Such issues identified are grief and/or loss, divorce, stress, 'empty nest syndrome', and a myriad of social-economical situations that often concern women specifically. She is dedicated to fostering a healthy environment by empowering women to pursue their own goals and personal development and to take responsibility for self.
She also carries a paralegal degree working with addictive legal matters, and is aware of the toll legal matters may take on the Compulsive Gambler and their families. Ms. Frogner-Olsen finds it imperative to provide a complete and holistic assessment of the Compulsive Gambler and to make accurate, ethical and reasonable recommendations to possible court systems; Judges, Parole Officers, Probation Officers and Attorneys.
This initial assessment is one of the most important steps a Compulsive Gambler can take, often setting the course through the judical system as well as setting a course of treatment and recovery.
Ms. Frogner-Olsen values human diversity and works with all Problem and Compulsive Gamblers and their families with compassion and respect.
